The metric that matters. Pay attention.

  1. Collect participation data. This is just the start - they are just numbers but make contact #2 #3
  2. Gather information about the regular people. Get to know them, well. Speak with them directly.
  3. Seek insights on what they want and don't want. Listen!

Look for hand-raisers. These people are the passionate ones. These might become the next set of leaders.
